My new clean skincare routine
I’ve been a Living Libations Stan for years now. Best Skin Ever is my go to for clean skincare, there is nothing better, I actually have a subscription for this one and now my whole family uses it to wash their face, plus the packaging is so beautiful and we all know I love a good aesthetic!
Since my 30’s I’ve become a total hippie at heart and decided this Black Friday was the time to really up level my entire skincare routine, taking a more toxin free, more natural approach.
The first thing I ordered was the Rose Glow Complexion Mist. It is supposed to help hydrate dry skin and tone uneven texture. So far, I am loving this. It smells really nice and I do think my skin feels more hydrated when I use it.
Next was DewDab - Ozonated Beauty Balm. This claims it puts furrowed brows, tired skin and blemishes in another dimension and I would say this is accurate! I really like this balm, my skin feels amazing the second I put it on. Will definitely repurchase!
I wanted something that would handle dark circles at a mama of 8 level so I ordered Open Sky Eye Serum. I really like how this goes on and it feels good on my skin, sometimes I find eye products burn, even the more natural products, this one doesn’t. But I haven’t noticed any difference in my dark circles yet. Still hopeful, but I’m not sure this is it. I do really like how it feels.
Of course I needed a moisturizer so I chose the Rose Glow Crème to match the scent of the mist. This is a beautiful colour and smells beautiful but I’m not really sold on it yet, I might need something more moisture intense for the harsh winter weather here.
One thing I ordered just for fun was The Lavish Abundance Petal Perfume. The description says this perfume was born to inspire. It is Vanilla, wild Jasmine, Lavender, and Lemon gather in an exquisite blend that has been called "a poetic masterpiece in a bottle. I was curious about this fragrance, I usually just use essential oils for my scents but this is really pretty. I think I would repurchase.
The sample I ordered was the Rose Glow Serum. And oh my goodness, this may actually be my most favourite thing. I am using it sparingly right now, because its a very small size, but I will definitely be ordering the full size because this makes my skin feel so soft and hydrated and happy plus it smells amazing and the colour is beautiful.
I spent a total of $229.72 CAD for this order and honestly the value is so good, certainly comparable to Sephora in price but much cleaner quality.
